Ready to mix
What you can mix with gin, lemon, and soda
Same matcher as What I can make, frozen on four bottles: gin, lemon, simple syrup, and soda water. It returns the tall Collins family. It does not return a Gimlet or a Smash.
Google cannot crawl your live pantry. This page runs the catalog matcher on a short gin highball bar and lists every recipe that bar actually unlocks. The editorial four — Collins, Fizz, Gimlet, Smash — live on 4 gin cocktails from lemon, lime, and soda. Lime and basil are not in this frozen set, so the Gimlet and the Smash stay off the Ready list.
- gin
- lemon
- simple syrup

Ready to Mix (3)
A Gimlet wants lime and no soda. A Gin Basil Smash wants basil. Those drinks are on the gin listicle, not in this matcher result. Check your own bottles on What I can make — that page stays private to this device.
What you can mix with gin, lemon, and soda FAQ
Which drinks does gin, lemon, syrup, and soda actually unlock?
The matcher marks Tom Collins, Gin Fizz, and John Collins Ready to Mix. They share gin, lemon, simple syrup, and soda water. Ice in the glass is the Collins; no ice is the Fizz. John Collins is the London-dry cousin of the Tom Collins.
Why isn’t the Gimlet on this list?
This frozen pantry has lemon and soda, not lime. A Gimlet is gin, lime, and syrup, served up. Add a lime in Pantry or read the gin listicle for that sour.
How is this different from the gin cocktails you can make at home guide?
That guide is a written menu of four drinks, including Gimlet and Smash. This page is the Ready to Mix output for one pantry. It will not grow into a /with/ URL for every combo.
