Created by Sam Ross in 2005 at Milk & Honey in New York, this modern classic combines blended Scotch with peated Islay for a smoky, spicy twist on the Whiskey Sour.
Ingredients
- scotch whisky 2 oz
- lemon juice 0.75 oz
- honey-ginger syrup 0.75 oz
- peated scotch 0.25 oz (float)
Instructions
Shake scotch, lemon juice, and honey-ginger syrup with ice. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Float the peated scotch on top. Garnish with candied ginger.
