Ingredients:

cachaça, lime, sugar

Brazil's national cocktail, made with cachaça (distilled sugarcane juice). It evolved from rural medicinal drinks in the 19th century and became a global symbol of Brazilian culture.

Ingredients

cachaça 2 oz
lime 1 whole (cut into wedges)
sugar 2 tsp (or simple syrup)

Instructions

In a rocks glass, muddle lime wedges with sugar to release juice. Fill glass with crushed ice, add cachaça, and stir well. Garnish with a lime wheel.
